Amigo Environmental

Amigo Environmental proudly carries Eagle-Picher’s quality line of floor-dry products, produced from diatomite. Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is composed of diatoms which have an open, continuous and honey-combed structure that attracts liquids into the absorbent. Each scoop of DE contains millions of natural, microscopic diatom "sponges" which hold liquids, absorbing immediately. Mined and processed near Reno, Nevada, Eagle-Picher's "Solid-a-Sorb" and "Floor Dry" products are sold in 25 pound bags, 40 and 80 bags to the pallet, respectively.

Other Absorbent Products

Containment bins filled with industrial absorbents for hazardous materials transportation
Amigo also carries, in limited quantities, clay-based "Absorbs It' from Oil Dri Corp., and Sierra Chemical's red, standard sweep. Both products are ideal for small spill containment and control and are available in 50# bags, 40 bags per pallet or by the pound for smaller quantities.

Newly added to Amigo's absorbent line is high quality, medium or fine grade Vermiculite, from a leading vermiculite manufacturer. In addition to its own absorptive qualities for transportation packaging, vermiculite is the standard for agricultural and horticultural applications. VVermiculite may be purchased in four (4) cubic feet per bag plastic packaging (weighing 20 pounds per bag) or in custom supersack sizes of 45 and 55 cubic feet per bulk bag.
